Do you have a favourite place you like to shop for your craft bits be it in person or online ? If so do you get good bargins, service or mistakes ? Let us know here, spead the word about crafts, lets make a big "paper chain" linking like minded friends across the net. Here is my list of shops. They are not in any order of preferance, as I love to shop at them all, although not every shop I use has been listed yet.

I'm now in my 2nd year of membership and look forward every month to my newsletter arriving. The May issue taster is a briefcase shaped card in a linen lexture, available in 6 colours. There website has a great gallery section as well as many other items to drool over, including new Blox Pads, a collection of paper/card in A4 and 12 x 12 sizes but be warned you will want everything. The service is quick, sometimes arriving next day and is packaged well. A new catalogue is due soon.

I have ordered many times from here and have always been pleased with the quickness and packaging, even if an item is out of stock, they will order it, and get it off as soon as it arrives. I am hoping to visit the shop this year as I like to browse around these shops as you never know what you will find. I recieved an order for some Sticky Dots as used by dawn Bibby on QVC, however when I opened the box it was empty, so I rang the shop and the lady and I had a good laugh about their invisability, and they replaced them for me free of charge and these arrived the next day. A catalogue is available and you will get quarterly updates.

This tiny shop run by Gill & Kerry is stuffed to the rafters with not only the most dream fabrics, but most of the craft stuff you will ever need including items by Anna Griffen. They also have unmounted and mounted stamps, glitters along with ribbons, card and paper. unfortunatly on my visit of May 28th the web site was not working although it is hoped it will be back online soon. if you know what you want give the girls a ring and they will do there best to help you. I use this firm when I need my paint mediums/brushes, sketchbooks etc.the catalogue is free and they will send you half price offers every few months. I not only paint (see www.wheelart.co.uk ) but I've started to make my own background papers and paint mini pictures to put on cards. I even carry pencils/watercolours/sketchbook in my car as you never know when inspiration hits you.

Have you brought something and do not use it anymore, how about swapping for an item you might want ? Then send me details of the item yo uwant to swap and what you might want for it, I will place it on here and we will try and get it swapped for you. I will not put any addresses on here but will contact both parties myself and if both agrea will then pass over each ones details so you can get in touch and do the deal.
I once did a Round Robin in cross stich and though it might be nice to do something with cards, any ideas on a name I though maybe "Paper Chain". Let me know what you think. If interested please email me for details etc.
